Career counselors also write résumés, so
they are included as a part of the résumé writers sector. Career counselors administer
career assessments, and provide general career advisory services. However, their
knowledge of the job market is normally very limited. Therefore, their services
are academic at best.
Outplacement companies perform in a similar
capacity as career counselors. Additionally, they provide secretarial services,
résumé development, and office space, computer access, interview assistance and
various job search workshops.
Employment Agencies have job listings, but
according to The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, only 13% of all Executives
